Is Master Landscape considered an upgrade to the Punch! program I currently use?

Master Landscape is a standalone product that shares many of the functions of most other Punch! software products with additional new features including PhotoView™ 3D photo imaging and PlantFinder™, an expanded plant database. While the feature set of Master Landscape is not completely landscape-specific, the program is oriented to users interested in developing a more robust landscape design. In contrast, programs such as Punch! Professional Home Design contain an impressive landscape plant library however, the program is oriented more towards home design and building details such as plumbing, electrical and so on.

Will Master Landscape work with files I've created in other Punch! programs?

Yes, but with the limitation that after editing your file in Master Landscape, you will not be able to reopen that file in Punch! programs other than Master Landscape. You will, however, be able to open Master Landscape files in Platinum. For current Punch! users, consider Master Landscape as a means of embellishing an existing design with the additional features of the program however, those features are not transferable back to other Punch! programs once the file is saved as a Master Landscape file. It is suggested that a user make a copy of a file to be edited in Master Landscape so that the original file can continue to be opened in the parent Punch! program it was created in, if desired.

How can I benefit from using Master Landscape?

You can take your existing designs and embellish them without starting from scratch. The breakthrough features of Master Landscape are available to any Punch! file without any type of conversion or redrawing required, all you need to do is open it.

Are Master Landscape files fully compatible with the new Professional Home Design-Platinum product?

Yes. Pro Platinum integrates all the features of Master Landscape therefore files created in Master are fully compatible. In addition, Platinum contains many new additional features and enhancements not found in Master which expand home design capabilities and customization.

Do you offer a Demo Program or a downloadable version of your software?

Currently we do not offer a demo of any Punch! Software program. We put a large amount of information on our product boxes and here on the Punch! Software website to compensate for this. Of course, the best demo is the product itself, since it comes with a 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

We do not offer downloadable software at this time. When ordering from our web site, your order will be shipped via the carrier indicated on your order form.

How do I convert an image from *.jpg to *.bmp?

Click the Start menu, then click Programs, then Accessories, then launch MS Paint (or Paint)

In MS Paint:
1. On the File Menu, click Open.
2. At the bottom of the window, select *.jpg, then browse to the location of your file.
3. Click to select the file, click OK.
4. On the File Menu, click Save As.
5. Type the name of the file.
6. Confirm that the Save As File Type is "24 Bit (*.bmp, *.dib)", then click Save.

Note: Paint is installed on all versions of Windows by default and is used to view .bmp images. If this program has been removed from your system or is located in area other than specified above, you will need to contact your systems administrator or Computer Manufacturer for help in replacing this file in its original Location.

I want to know what the plants are before I place them in my file. How can I do this?

As you move the mouse over the various previews, their names are displayed in the Status Bar on the lower left.
