Product Description:
When you draw a plan using Punch!, the horizontal aspects of the plan are obvious and easily described on the plans for each floor. To create a 3D effect from a plan, however, requires control in the vertical dimension, not just the horizontal. HighRise is a tool for visualizing the vertical design of a structure; it inputs quantities which are readily recognizeable to a non-professional designer, displays a vertical cross-section to verify the inputs, and outputs both the default values which make the design accurate in the vertical dimension, and settings which place new objects at the correct elevations as they are created. It gives the user the correct measurements that they need to supply to Punch! to properly execute your design without resorting to the guess work or cut-and-try methods.
The latest version of HighRise has several planning capabilities:
- Allows for roofs on more then one floor, such as those in designs where an upper story is recessed in from the walls of the lower floor, and have their own roofing system.
- Allows for selection of a better looking design over a functionally correct design, or vice versa.
- HighRise, like its predecessor 'From the Ground Up', will search the plan for existing walls, floors, ceilings and roofs that should be modified, suggests the modification, and if okayed by the user, does the work automatically, and leaves a log of the modifications.
In addition, it does this for up to six full floors of plans. These six floors are all fully editable as separate floor plans in Punch!, and are fully available for 3D renderings in a single file.
