Shopping FAQs

Answers to the questions we hear most about ordering, downloading, licences and refunds.

Ordering and payment

How do I place an order?
Choose your edition, platform and licence on the product page, then select Add to cart. At checkout, sign in or create an account (we use your email for the receipt and the download link), choose a payment method and confirm. You can keep shopping at any point — the cart remembers what you added.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards and PayPal. Businesses with pre-approved credit terms can order by purchase order over the phone — call 1-800-334-0457 or email [email protected].
Are prices in U.S. dollars?
Yes. Every price on this site is in U.S. dollars (USD).
Do I pay sales tax?
Sales tax may apply depending on where you are. It is calculated at checkout from your billing address, before you confirm the order.
When is my card charged?
When you place the order. Your confirmation email arrives straight away.
Why was my card declined?
The usual reasons are an expired card, a billing address that does not exactly match the one on the card statement, a spending limit, or a security hold by the card issuer. Check the details, try again or use PayPal — or call us and we will help.

Download and delivery

How do I get my software?
Everything is delivered by download. Your order confirmation email contains the download link and your licence key. Install the software and activate it with that key — most people are designing within minutes.
Where is my serial number?
In your order confirmation email. You can also sign in and open Order history to see it again.
My download stopped part-way. What now?
Select the download link again — most browsers resume where they left off. If it keeps failing, sign in, open the order under Order history and start the download from there, or contact support.
Can I download it again later?
Yes. Use the link in your confirmation email or sign in to your account. If a link no longer works, contact support with your order number.

Licences and activation

Does one licence cover Windows and Mac?
No. Windows and Mac are separate products with separate licences. Choose the platform you will install on when you add the product to your cart.
What is the difference between owning it and a term licence?
Own it is a one-time purchase for one computer that you can use for as long as your system supports it, with 12 months of maintenance and support included. A term licence (1 or 3 years) costs less up front and includes every update and upgrade while the term is active.
Can I upgrade from an older version?
Yes — upgrade pricing covers versions released in the last five years, and some editions also accept older versions. See the upgrade page for every path and price.
What does maintenance and support include?
Twelve months of technical support and every maintenance patch for your version, included with every licence. After that you can renew each year for 25% of the list price.
My licence key does not work.
Keys are case-sensitive — copy and paste it exactly from the confirmation email. If it still fails, contact support with your order number.
The software asks me to activate every time I start it.
On some Windows systems the activation cannot be saved without permission. Right-click the program icon, choose Run as administrator and activate once; after that it will start normally.
How do Copilot credits work?
Each Home Design Copilot term includes a monthly credit allowance for AI rendering, asset generation and design help. Copilot needs Punch! 26 for Windows; it is not available on Mac 22.

Refunds and cancellations

What is your refund policy?
We offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase on any licence that has not been activated. Activated licences cannot be refunded.
How do I ask for a refund?
Email [email protected] within 30 days with your order number and the product name. We will confirm the licence has not been activated and process the refund to your original payment method.
Can I cancel a term licence?
Term licences follow the same rule: refundable within 30 days if they have not been activated. After that the term runs to its end date.
